About us

Who we are

A Ghana-based, community-centred NGO dedicated to protecting human health, restoring ecosystems and strengthening sustainable livelihoods.

Who we are

Where agriculture, health and environment meet

AgroShield Initiative LBG is a community-centred NGO working to protect human health, restore ecosystems and strengthen sustainable livelihoods in agricultural communities — through integrated, community-driven solutions.

We equip farmers, youth, women and vulnerable groups with practical, evidence-based tools to adopt safe, climate-smart practices that improve health outcomes and build resilient livelihoods.

Our mission

To improve community health, protect the environment and strengthen livelihoods by promoting safe and sustainable agriculture, improving access to water, sanitation and hygiene, restoring degraded landscapes, building practical skills, and advancing inclusive and resilient food systems.

Our vision

A future where agriculture, human health and environmental integrity thrive together — where communities produce food safely and sustainably, have access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene, restore their environments, and build resilient livelihoods for present and future generations.

Our story

Why AgroShield exists

Many rural communities face unsafe agrochemical exposure, environmental degradation, limited access to clean water and sanitation, food safety risks, declining productivity and unstable incomes. AgroShield was created to transform this reality.

Add the founding narrative here — who founded AgroShield, the community that inspired it, and when it began.
